Mc Donald's Story Telling Contest 2016

Recently, I participated in the Mc Donald's Story Telling Contest 2016. All participants aged 6 - 9 years old who wanted to join have to submit a 1 minute long story in instagram. My mother told me about the contest and I wanted to give it a try. My mom recorded my story titled 'An Honest Woodcutter'. My video which was recorded at home is below.

There were hundreds of children who participated and I was one of the lucky few to be chosen to go for live audition. My mom helped me make an axe and I practised my story telling a few times before the live audition which was held on 20 November 2016 at Mc Donald's Putrajaya. To be honest, I was a little nervous because I usually have stage fright. I was also down with flu and cough that day. I was unlucky. Anyway, I told my story and really had fun with Ronald Mc Donald and all the 3 judges and other participants.

Our fun time acting with Ronald Mc Donald and I was a sheep.

The 15 finalist was chosen from all over Malaysia and unfortunately I was not chosen. Congrats to the 15 finalist who will compete on 3 December 2016. Good luck to all finalists.

SnowWorld Genting Highlands - New European Facade and Comical Props

I was very happy to visit SnowWorld, Genting Highlands last week. It was so much fun playing in the snow and sliding down in a tube. The best part is learning more about the European countries, Holland, Italy, Norway, England, France, Spain, Germany and Switzerland and seeing the latest 3D trick art - fanciful comical props with hilarious names like King's Feast, Falling Chandelier, Snow Monster, Distorted Knight and Dragon Prop. If you don't have any plans this school holidays or if you want to experience snow in Malaysia, come to SnowWorld. A visit here means you will bring home rib-tickling memories thanks to the arrival of some new attractions.

This is me eating French bread outside a French Baker shop.

Nice tulips and a giant 3D Holland clog

My brother & I played this slide 3 times. It was super fun!

There were lots of 3D trick art props on the highest level. Some were very beautiful and unique.

Ninjago The Ride at Legoland

I was very happy when my parents decided to bring me to Legoland to try out Legoland's latest attraction, Ninjago The Ride. I was lucky my school gave all students 5 days off for Deepavali holidays. This new ride is open to the public in November 2016.

The whole area of this new ride was very impressive. Some of the structures such as the guardian dragons, the monastery and young ninja heroes were built with Lego bricks.

LEGO® NINJAGO™ The Ride enables guests to demonstrate their ninja skills without the use of a hand held device and instead, by simply using their hand gestures. Riders collect points for their training and battle efforts throughout the ride and scores are displayed when their quest is completed.
This ride was awesome but I was not good in controlling my powers. My younger brother was much better than me. We played many times and there was once he scored the highest score. A little practice is needed.

The ride is not a roller coaster ride, it just moves around to different screens for guests to use their powers to scare away the bad guys. The ride is 3 mins 30seconds and each car fits 4 riders. Children below 115cm and 6 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. The total area for this ride is 2,004.72 square meters.

Come with your family to Legoland to experience the first Ninjago Ride in Asia. For more information about Legoland, please visit https://www.facebook.com/LEGOLAND.my/.
Since my family has the Legoland annual passes, we will be coming back again soon.

My Mom's Delicious Frutzee Recipe

My mom, brother and I made a simple and delicious recipe using Frutzee snacks. Frutzee snacks are real fruits that are freeze-dried after picking. It is a very healthy snack especially for children who don't like to eat real fruits. Frutzee snacks comes in 4 flavours - Banana, Grapes, Apple and Strawberry.

The recipe my mom created is called Frutzee Ice-Cream Crunch. It is very easy to make.

Step by Step on how to make this.

Put some milk into a small bowl, then cut a piece of wholemeal bread into small pieces.

Put the bread into the milk and put some Cheerios Oat Crisp.

This is how it looks at this stage.

Then add in the ice cream.

Lastly, open the Frutzee snacks.

Put the Frutzee snacks on the top of the ice cream.

Enjoy and eat. It is delicious and nutritious.

To know more about Frutzee, you can visit my mom's blog at HERE
