Throughout the campaign period, the mall will be transformed with themed decorations, creating a strong Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere. Every corner will be decorated with moon-themed landscaping, lanterns, and autumn trees, providing shoppers with great photo and video opportunities to capture beautiful moments spent with family and friends at Sungei Wang Plaza.
Sitting majestically above the Centre Court you'll find "Malaysia's Largest Inflatable Moon”, certified by The Malaysia Book of Records, The extremely large moon is accompanied by sparkling LED lights resembling stars. Benneth, you will find a captivating moonlit island decoration with radiant LED neon lights and enchanting autumn trees with lanterns, as well as the presence of symbolic mid-autumn festival elements like jade rabbits and auspicious clouds. At the main entrance, a second moon island awaits you, and see the Sungei Wang Walk come to live with colourful festive lanterns which are beautifully illuminated in the colours of the event theme.
In terms of activities, this year Sungei Wang Plaza has lined up a host of cultural performances and talent showcases. Not to forget the highlight of the mid-autumn campaign Fun Under The Moon Lantern Parade, will undoubtedly provide all shoppers with a truly immersive and unforgettable festival experience.

Sungei Wang Plaza Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade, themed as a carnival, will be held on 24 September 2023. "Shoppers and tourists must not miss this largest Lantern Parade in Bukit Bintang. Everyone should come with their family and friends to have fun, witness and create unforgettable memories together", said Mr Joseph Teo, Centre Manager of Sungei Wang Plaza. MID-AUTUMN MARKETPLACE
From now until 1 October 2023, the Mid-Autumn Marketplace will be located on both sides of Centre Court and the Main Entrance Foyer, offering more than a hundred flavours of mooncakes, such as Hong Kong Bay, Duria, Hock Wong, JMM Cookies, Village Cookies, GYL Mooncake, Milky Way, and many more mooncake brands. Mid-Autumn festive items such as gifts, tea sets, lanterns, decorations, and snacks can also be found in the Mid-Autumn Marketplace. Don’t miss the chance to explore the market’s treasures and immerse yourself in the charm of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
FUN HAPPENINGS
To provide shoppers who are seeking the perfect festive atmosphere, Sungei Wang Plaza will host a series of celebration activities as part of the "Fun Under The Moon" campaign. We will celebrate this festival with a music extravaganza, including Piano Melodies, PPMUM 10th Year Anniversary Celebration, Apextar Academy Graduation Showcase, Guzheng Performance by Arise, the 1st Ratana Primary & Secondary State Singing Competition 2023 (Selangor), and the delightful Mid-Autumn Ukulele Show by ThiamGuitar. Also, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy these festive performances, including the HanFu Costume Fashion Show and the 2023 Oriental Qipao Beauty Pageant @ Talent Show. In addition, we have an event that coincides with Malaysia Day, the Malaysia Day Cultural Costume Competition by Movekids and National Day 2023: Cultural Show by Special Kids planned for that special day.
